One of our missions at WarriorFit is to have the opportunity to impact the health of our Youth. According to a study published in The Journal of the American Medical Association there has been a rise in Chronic Health Problems among our Youth. One being obesity which severely impacts a child's life as they age. Many of these problems are lifestyle-related and we need to fix that.
We are also seeing a rise in sport-related injuries. Research suggests that as many as 4 in 10 emergency room visits are the result of a sport-related injury. Kids are specializing in one sport year round more often or they are participating in multiple sports or on multiple teams. This is creating opportunities for overuse injuries with very little emphasis on time off. Our program was created to help kids and athletes develop the skills to reduce these risks of injuries and keep them safe.
